Dr. Kenneth Gibson

Dr. Gibson is the Medical Director at Lakeview Health Systems, and specializes in the treatment of drug addiction, alcoholism and dual diagnosis. Dr. Gibson graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1981 with a degree in osteopathic medicine. In addition to being board certified in family medicine, Dr. Gibson completed a fellowship in addiction medicine at the University of Florida.

Dr. Raul Soto-Acosta

Dr. Acosta completed his psychiatric residency at Albert Einstein's College of Medicine in 1993. A board certified psychiatrist and a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Acosta provides the patients at Lakeview Health Systems with any psychiatric support they may require. Dr. Acosta has been a member of the Lakeview family for the last four years and now specializes in the treatment of dual diagnosis and drug addiction.

Jim Matney, L.M.H.C., C.A.P.

Jim Matney is Lakeview Health System’s Director of Staff Development. Mr. Matney, who has been working in the field of addiction treatment for the past 15 years, is a certified addiction professional and licensed mental health counselor. Jim has been with the Lakeview family since its inception.

Lynn Powell, LCSW

Lynn Powell is Lakeview Health System’s Clinical Director and has been in the field of addiction treatment and dual diagnosis counseling for the last 25 years. With a Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation and a Master's in mental health counseling, Lynn brings a wonderful blend of experience to the Lakeview Health program. Lynn has been with Lakeview Health Systems for the last five years.

Kristie Overstreet

Kristie received her Master's degree in professional counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia and specializes in the area of addiction treatment for the GLBT population. We are proud and excited to have her as the leader of the GLBT component and part of the Lakeview family.

Debbie Richard

Debbie Richard is the Director of Health Information Management at Lakeview Health Systems. Among her many responsibilities, Debbie is responsible for all financial matters with patients and families during the admission process. After 15 years of working in the field of addiction treatment and spending the last four with Lakeview Health Systems, Debbie has become a valued member of the Lakeview family.

Hans Geevers, B.A.

Hans Geevers is one of Lakeview Health System's case managers and has been working in the field of addiction treatment for the last 7 years. Mr. Geevers has the responsibility of assisting patients in the development of their discharge plan. This relapse prevention plan is capable, if followed, of providing each patient with quality long term recovery.
