What are Partial Hospitalization Programs?

Lakeview's partial hospitalization programs (PHP) allow patients to begin taking even greater responsibility for their recovery. Individuals enrolled in our partial hospitalization programs will attend a full day of addiction treatment activities while returning "home" in the evening. Our programs enable recovering addicts to adjust to living drug or alcohol free within a normal living environment.

Partial Hospitalization Programs and the Recovery Apartments

Many of the people treated at Lakeview Health's dual diagnosis treatment center live outside of the local area. Those individuals have the option of making their "home" at Lakeview's Recovery Apartments while attending our partial hospitalization programs. Patients staying in our Recovery Apartments can begin to put into practice what they have learned in drug rehab and start addressing the challenges of living in the “real world.” Lakeview's partial hospitalization programs are ideal for the dual diagnosis population because they give recovering individuals the opportunity to manage their medications while adjusting to life outside a drug rehab or alcohol rehab. Experience has shown that living in a supportive recovering community greatly reduces the risk of relapse.
