Upon arrival you will be met by one of our nurses who, after a brief assessment, will introduce you to our medical director, a board-certified Addictionologist. Following a comprehensive  physical examination issues associated with detox will be addressed. A detox protocol will be developed and explained to you. The detox protocol’s goal is to reduce and possibly eliminate any symptoms associated with withdrawal from substance abuse, drug addiction or alcohol abuse.  If a patient presents with a dual clinical assessment for drug rehabdiagnosis, mental health issues will be assessed and the patient will be seen by one of our board certified psychiatrists, who specialize in addiction treatment.

If a patient needs to be seen prior to detox, there will be a follow up appointment within days to determine whether a patients presenting mental health symptoms were a direct result of their addiction / alcoholism and will diminish over time or they aredrug rehab at Lakeview a result of a definite mental health condition.

All of the information gathered during the admission, assessment and detox phase of alcohol rehab or drug rehab  will be passed on to your therapist to develop an addiction treatment plan that meets your individual needs. As you progress through drug rehab and your condition improves, clinical and medical conditions will change. Because of this, your addiction treatment plan will be adjusted accordingly.
